Incidents
5/23/08 - Tyrone Twp, 158 Shady Lane off McCabe Rd. Landisburg, Shermansdale, Ickesburg (Tanker 3) and New Bloomfield (Engine 8) were dispatched for a working garage fire with explosions. Units on scene were Engines 4 and 8, Tankers 4, 12, 12-1 and 3 and Ambulance 49.

5/19/08 - Auto Accident, Centre Twp at Main Street and Cold Storage Rd with confinement. Chief 8 contact 911 center for vehicle accident with a van on a guide wire and PTs still in the vehicle and requested PPL. Rescue 8, Ambulances 89 and 89-2 responded. Ambulance 89 arrived on scene placing P/M 81 available. As Rescue 8 crew arrived on scene, crews found a full size Ford van balanced on a guide wire with all 4 wheels off the ground. Occupants and two dogs were still in the vehicle. H & J Towing were contacted and arrived quickly to stabilize vehicle. Rescue 8 crew helped occupants out of the vehicle. Two H & J heavy duty wreckers removed the van from the guide wire. At the end of the call, the van was driven back to the firehouse and occupants were taken by Utility 8 to their residence in Liverpool since family was not able to pick them up.

5/12/08 - Auto Accident, 7914 Spring Rd, Centre Twp. Rescue 8, A89-1, A89-2, A129, A129-1 and PM81 dispatched class 1 at 1746. Chief 8-1 on scene requesting second tool for dual entrapment. E12 was dispatched and aero medical placed on standby. Rescue 8 arrived on scene at 1753 and began PT assessment and extrication. Ambulance 89-1 arrived on scene confirming 4 pts, 2 ALS and Life Lion to fly. Engine 8 was dispatched to handle the landing zone. Initially, Rescue 8 crew began extrication on both vehicles. Once E12 arrived, E12 crew assisted with extrication. The first patient was extricated at 1810. The second patient was heavily entrapped and extricated at 1849. Rescue 8 and Engine 8 operated on the scene with 32 personnel.

4/29/08 - Auto accident, Keystone Way and Pine Grove Rd. Rescue 8, Ambulance 89 and PM 81 dispatched class 1. Chief 8-4 arrived on scene as the 911 call was being placed. Chief 8-4 placed PM 81 available and downgraded Ambulance 89 to class 2. While Rescue 8 was enroute, Chief 8-4 placed EMS available. Rescue 8 arrived on scene and assisted with traffic control and debris removal.

3/27/08 - Auto Accident, Carroll Twp, near the intersection of Route 34 and 274. Rescue and Engine 8, Ambulance 89 and multiple other BLS units responded. Units advised enroute of entrapment, fire and multiple injuries.
